Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh is set to get a major boost in rail connectivity as Budni railway station is developed into an important junction between Bhopal and Itarsi. The upgraded station will improve direct rail connectivity from Indore towards Budni and Narmadapuram and could help passengers save travel time.
The development is expected to make Budni an important railway point for passengers travelling between western and central parts of Madhya Pradesh. With more trains likely to get stoppages at the station after it becomes a junction, passengers in Budni and surrounding areas are expected to get better access to rail services.
Budni Station Set for Major Infrastructure Upgrade
A new railway station building is currently under construction at Budni. The project includes modern infrastructure and passenger facilities aimed at supporting the station’s growing role in the railway network.
Budni already has stoppages for some trains. However, its development as a junction is expected to open possibilities for additional train services and stoppages. The existing station building will continue to remain, while the new structure will provide upgraded facilities.
