Chandigarh: The Haryana government on Thursday transferred three IAS officers in a minor administrative reshuffle, involving key responsibilities in health, women and child welfare, food and drugs administration, and district administration.
Among the changes, Satbir Singh (IAS:2018:HY) has been transferred from the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority, and appointed Deputy Commissioner (DC), Rohtak.
At the same time, Manoj Kumar-II (IAS:2014:HY) has been given the additional charge of CEO of the Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority, while Pratima Chaudhary (IAS:2013:HY) has been assigned an additional responsibility related to child rights.
Satbir Singh Appointed Deputy Commissioner of Rohtak
Satbir Singh, IAS (HY:2018), who was serving as Chief Executive Officer, Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Rohtak.
His move brings a change in the district’s administrative leadership and comes as part of the latest reshuffle ordered by the Haryana government.
Before the transfer, Singh was heading the Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority as its CEO, a key position associated with the implementation and administration of the state’s health protection framework under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
Manoj Kumar-II Gets Additional Charge of Ayushman Bharat Authority
Manoj Kumar-II, IAS (HY:2014), currently serving as Commissioner, Food & Drugs Administration, Haryanaand Managing Director, Haryana Medical Services Corporation Limited, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority.
He will continue to discharge his existing responsibilities as Commissioner, Food & Drugs Administration and Managing Director, Haryana Medical Services Corporation Limited, along with the additional assignment.
The arrangement follows the transfer of Satbir Singh, who was previously heading the Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority.
Pratima Chaudhary Gets Additional Child Rights Charge
Pratima Chaudhary, IAS (HY:2013), who is serving as Special Secretary to Government, Haryana, Animal Husbandry & Dairying Department, has also been given an additional responsibility.
She is currently also serving as Member Secretary, Haryana State Commission for Women and Managing Director, Haryana Women Development Corporation Limited.
In addition to her present duties, Chaudhary has now been entrusted with the additional charge of Secretary, Haryana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
She will therefore continue with her existing assignments while taking on the additional responsibility of Secretary of the state commission dealing with protection of child rights.
Three IAS Officers, Key Administrative Changes
The latest reshuffle involves three officers from the Haryana cadre of the Indian Administrative Service, with the changes spanning district administration, healthcare and social welfare-related responsibilities.
The key changes are:
- Satbir Singh (2018:HY): Transferred as Deputy Commissioner, Rohtak from CEO, Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority.
- Manoj Kumar-II (2014:HY): Given additional charge of CEO, Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority, while continuing as Commissioner, Food & Drugs Administration and MD, Haryana Medical Services Corporation.
- Pratima Chaudhary (2013:HY): Given additional charge of Secretary, Haryana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, while retaining her existing assignments.
The latest orders bring changes in the allocation of responsibilities while ensuring continuity in several key departments and authorities.
