Panchkula: IAS and Haryana Civil Service (HCS) officers have been assigned to monitor and conduct quality audits of PM SHRI, Culture Model and Chief Minister Excellence and Early English (CM-EEE) schools in Haryana’s Panchkula district.
The initiative has been undertaken following directions from the Chief Secretary, with the Haryana School Shiksha Pariyojana Parishad (HSSPP) attaching PM SHRI schools to senior district-level officials for monitoring and mentorship.
District Officers to Mentor Schools
Under the arrangement, schools have been attached to officials including Deputy Commissioners, Additional Deputy Commissioners, Sub-Divisional Magistrates, City Magistrates, District Council CEOs, Municipal Commissioners and General Managers of Haryana Roadways.

These officers will serve as mentors and monitor the functioning of the schools through physical inspections and quality assessments.
The Panchkula administration has prepared an assessment framework and started the quality-audit exercise.
Inspections to Cover Academics, Sports and Infrastructure
As part of the exercise, officials are inspecting facilities and activities related to teaching, sports, computer laboratories and infrastructure.
The physical inspections will also cover school facilities, ongoing activities, infrastructure and relevant records. The inspection reports are required to be uploaded on the PM SHRI portal.
The monitoring is being carried out under the direction of Additional Deputy Commissioner Vivek Arya, a 2021-batch IAS officer of the Haryana cadre.
Panchkula Ranked First in 2025-26 State Assessment
Panchkula secured first position in the state-level assessment for 2025-26.
The latest quality-audit exercise is focused on physical verification of school facilities, academic and extracurricular activities, infrastructure and records across the identified schools.
