Hindustan Copper Limited Signs MoU with MECON Limited to Accelerate Mining Project Implementation

New Delhi: In a significant move to accelerate project execution and strengthen India’s mineral security, Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MECON Limited in Kolkata. The collaboration aims to provide end-to-end consultancy solutions to reduce project risks and ensure faster implementation of mining and metallurgical projects.

The MoU reflects a shared commitment by both organizations to enhance India’s strategic mineral development and operational efficiency.

Key Objectives of the MoU

Under the agreement, MECON Limited will offer integrated consultancy services, including:

  • Comprehensive project planning and execution support
  • Risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Technical expertise across mining, metallurgical, and operational domains
  • Streamlined processes to accelerate project timelines

This collaboration is expected to help HCL implement its ongoing and future projects more efficiently while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
