Ms. Sai Ahlladini Panda, a 2000-batch IA&AS officer, has been appointed as Member Secretary (Joint Secretary level) of the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) under the Department of Pharmaceuticals. She replaces Mr. Vinod Kotwal, a 1994-batch IP&TA&FS officer, and will serve in the post for a tenure of five years.
The Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) is a premier Group ‘A’ Central Civil Service responsible for auditing the accounts of the Union and State governments. Officers of this service work under the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India to ensure transparency and accountability in public financial administration.
