Rahul Ranjan Mahiwal to Lead Agriculture Corporation

The Maharashtra government has appointed Rahul Ranjan Mahiwal (IAS, 2005 batch) as the Managing Director, Maharashtra State Agriculture Corporation, Pune.

Prakash Khapale Gets New Role in Fisheries

Prakash Khapale, previously Commissioner, Soil & Water Conservation, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, has been transferred to serve as the Managing Director, Maharashtra State Fisheries Corporation, Mumbai.

Other Major Appointments in Maharashtra

  • Dr. Manjiri Manolkar, Managing Director, Maharashtra State Agriculture, Pune, has been posted as Commissioner, Tribal Research & Training Institute, Pune.
  • Trikon Kulkarni, Deputy Director General, YASHADA, Pune, has been appointed Chairman, SSC & HSC Board, Pune.
  • Anjali Ramesh, CEO, Zila Parishad, Hingoli, has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Water Conservation, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.

Punjab Issues Transfer Orders for IAS and IPS Officers

Punjab has reshuffled both IAS and IPS officers, impacting significant administrative and law enforcement posts.

IAS Appointments in Punjab

  • Harsurinder Pal Singh Brar has been appointed Director General, Higher Education, Punjab.
  • Harpreet Singh Sudan has been relieved from the additional charge of the Higher Education portfolio.
  • Rubindrajit Singh Brar has been transferred as Additional Chief Executive Officer, Punjab Investment Promotion Bureau.

IPS Reshuffle in Punjab

Punjab has reassigned five IPS officers, strengthening district policing and intelligence operations:

  • Akhil Chaudhary, SSP Sri Muktsar Sahib → AIG, Administration, ANTF, SAS Nagar
  • Suhail Qasim Mir, SSP Batala → SSP Amritsar Rural
  • Dr. Mehtab Singh, SSP SBS Nagar → SSP Batala
  • Tushar Gupta, Joint Director, Crime, Vigilance Bureau SAS Nagar → SSP SBS Nagar
  • Abhimanyu Rana, AIG Intelligence SAS Nagar → SSP Sri Muktsar Sahib
