Following a circular issued by the Department of Personnel (DoPT) on May 3rd, Dr. Subodh Kumar (2010-batch Tamil Nadu cadre IAS officer) was made Director in the Ministry of Ayush with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post for a period upto October 8th or until further orders, whichever transpires earlier.
The order read, “In view of declaration of election to the Lok Sabha, in case of the officer being on election related duty he may kindly be relieved after due clearance from the Election Commission of India to take up his new assignment in the Ministry of Ayush.”
He had earlier served as a Private Secretary in the Ministry of Food Processing & Industries.
