In a recent development, the government of Jharkhand mandated the transfer of six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Among the transferees is the former Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s favoured bureaucrat, Mr. Vinay Choubey (1999 batch IAS), who got transferred to the Panchayati Raj Department.
Mr. Ajay Kumar Singh (1995 batch IAS) was appointed the Principal Secretary in the Health Department, while Dr. Abubakar Siddique P (2003 batch IAS) was mandated to assume charge as Secretary in the Department of Mines and Geology.
