Odisha: 2 senior IAS officers Appointed as OSDs for Men’s Hockey World Cup

he Odisha Government recently appointed two senior IAS officers as Officers on Special Duty (OSD) in the State Sports Department for the forthcoming Men’s Hockey Worl Cup scheduled in January next year.
IAS officer Bhupendra Singh Poonia (2008-batch) has been allowed to remain in the charge of OSD in Rourkela and IAS officer Raghu G (2011-batch) is the OSD in Bhubaneswar.
Besides, 2007-batch IAS officer Balwant Singh, at present, the Managing Director of Odisha Mining Corporation with the additional charge of Managing Director, OMECL and MD, IDCOL has been allowed to remain in charge of Vice-Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority and Managing Director of Bhubaneswar Smart City Ltd, in addition to his own duties.
