1985 batch IAS officer R Subrahmanyam, who is the Secretary of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, was Thursday assigned additional charge as Secretary of National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) and National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), until further orders.
