New Delhi: The Central Government has approved the inter-cadre transfer of IAS Rajat Beeton (IAS:2022) from the Tamil Nadu cadre to the Himachal Pradesh cadre on the grounds of his marriage to fellow IAS officer Dr. Manu Verma. The transfer was cleared by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) under the Centre’s inter-cadre transfer policy applicable to All India Service officers married to officers serving in another cadre.
