1997 batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer of Tripura cadre, Mr. Angshuman Dey has been bestowed with the additional responsibility as the secretary in the North Eastern Council, Shillong. He was serving the Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER).
Mr Dey will replace senior bureaucrat Mr. K Moses Chalai, a 1990 batch IAS officer, who was appointed secretary of the Inter-State Council Secretariat (ISCS) under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
