1994 batch IPS officer Deepak Kumar of Assam cadre, who served as the Director of the North Eastern Police Academy (NEPA), has been appointed as Additional Director General (ADG) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
While, 1998 batch IPS officer of Assam cadre Anurag Agrawal, who is currently holding the position of Inspector General (IG) in the CRPF, has been given additional responsibility of Director of the NEPA. The change is effective immediately and will continue until further orders are issued, or until a different arrangement is made, whichever occurs first.
