Ranchi, Jharkhand: The annual festival “Connections-2025” organized by the Jharkhand chapter of the IIMC Alumni Association (IMCA) came to a grand conclusion in Ranchi with a memorable meet of alumni from across the state. The event saw alumni from various districts of Jharkhand coming together, reflecting on their time at the institute and sharing cherished memories.
A highlight of the event was the unanimous election of Kishore Kaushal, Jamshedpur SSP and an IPS officer from the 2012 batch, as the new president of the Jharkhand chapter. In his address, Kaushal expressed the strong bonds that tie the alumni together, saying, “IMCA is not just an organization, but a family. When we meet each other, we not only refresh our memories but also share our joys and sorrows.”

The program was presided over by the outgoing General Secretary, Manisha Singh, while the event’s stage management was handled by Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Professor at Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ), Ranchi. The occasion also saw participation from several prominent figures, including former president Prasad Sanyal, executive president Manish Gupta, and alumni from Delhi, including Ritesh Verma and Badrinath.
The event featured several special cultural presentations by the alumni, which added to the celebratory atmosphere and made the gathering even more memorable.
The successful conclusion of Connections-2025 has strengthened the bond among the alumni and further reinforced the sense of community within the IIMC Alumni Association.
