In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle at the central level, the Government of India has transferred 3 IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre with immediate effect.
1995 batch IPS officer Madhup Kumar Tiwari has been transferred to Chandigarh as DGP. He was posted in Delhi.
Mr. Devesh Chandra Srivastava, also an IPS officer of 1995 batch, has been sent to Delhi. He was DGP, Andaman & Nicobar Island (A&NI).
1997 batch IPS officer Surendra Singh Yadav has been posted as new DGP of Andaman & Nicobar Island. He was also posted in Delhi.
