On November 19, the Karnavati Club in Ahmedabad will host “Rakshak – Ek Shaam Gujarat Police Ke Naam,” a special programme honouring the Gujarat police. This programme is being specifically organised for Gujarat’s police force for the first time.
The event will feature “Harmony of the Pines,” a well-known band from the Himachal Pradesh Police. More than 20 eminent performers from the Bollywood and Gujarati film industries will also take the stage at the magnificent event to further enhance the evening’s significance as they honour the efforts and selfless devotion of Gujarat police officers. The Gujarati film industry will also be promoted at the event.
With the help of the Gujarat Home Ministry and the Youth and Cultural Activities Ministry, the special event was put together by the Shree Sai Women and Children Welfare Trust. Gujarat’s four police commissionerates, along with its thirty-three districts, have all been included in the programme. At the ceremony, police officers from each of the districts and commissionerates will be honoured for their exceptional service and recognised for their efforts with medals and diplomas.
The members of the committee have been proposed as Deputy IGP Parikshita Rathod (IPS), Superintendent of Police Neeraj Badgujar (IPS), Superintendent of Police Virendra Singh Yadav (IPS), and Staff Officer GG Jasani. The event will start at 7:00 o’clock.
