47 IPS officers of different batches were shortlisted for promotion for Inspector General (IG)/IG equivalent level posts at the Center on Friday.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Friday, March 15, 2024, cleared the empanelment of 47 IPS officers for holding IG or IG equivalent posts.
Out of the 47 officers, two each are of 2003 and 2004 batch while the rest are of 2005 batch.
