Senior IPS Officer Mr. Gyanendra Pratap Singh can finally take a sigh of relief as the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) ordered that all the cases related to him be resolved, and he gets reinstated within four weeks. A 1994-batch IPS officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, Mr. GP Singh who had headed the Anti-corruption Bureau and Economic Offence Wing, was booked under several cases, including sedition, after the ACB raided his house in July 2021. On the recommendation of the erstwhile Bhupendra Baghel government, the Union Home Ministry gave him compulsory retirement in July 2023.
