Indian Police Service officer Ms. Aparna Kumar received an important gift this new year when she got promoted to the post of Inspector General (IG). Currently posted as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in ITBP, Dehradun sector, the officer has been empaneled for the post of IG at the Central level after the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), and the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
