IPS officer Gaurav Singh has been appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) within the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a designated period of five years. This appointment follows an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday, September 15, 2023. The competent authority has endorsed Mr. Singh’s induction into the CBI, effective from the date he assumes the responsibilities of the position, or until further orders are issued, whichever event occurs earlier.
