2008 batch IPS officer Dr. M Tamilvanan of Jharkhand cadre, has been appointed as Deputy Director (DIG level) in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), Hyderabad for a period of five years.
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Friday (12.05.2023), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Tamilvanan to the post of deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
