On Tuesday, 2nd March 2021, The Union Ministry of Home Affairs gave a positive nod to the Government of Haryana to give an extension to the Director-General of Police, Mr. Manoj Yadav.
According to the orders, the officer has been given a one-year extension as Additional Director of IB. MHA communicated the same to the Haryana government through the additional chief secretary. Mr. Yadav has received an extension till February 2022. The development came a day after Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s assertion that the IPS would continue as DGP till further notice.
