Senior IPS officer Ravi Joseph Lokku has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) in the Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D). According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Tuesday (21.03.2023), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Lokku to the post on deputation basis from the date of joining the post and upto 31.08.2026 i.e. date of his superannuation or till further orders, whichever is earlier.
