In a reshuffle of the Jharkhand police, 18 IPS officers have been transferred. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jamshedpur, Prabhat Kumar has been removed and IPS officer of the 2012 batch, Kaushal Kishore has been assigned to the post. Prabhat Kumar’s next posting has not yet been announced.
Other key transfers include:
- Chandan Kumar Singh has been named the new SSP of Ranchi.
- Harish Bin Jama has been appointed as the SP of Lohardaga.
- Seraikela SDPO Harvinder Singh has been made SP Gumla.
- SDPO Palamau Medininagar, Rishabh Garg will take over as Rural SP in Jamshedpur.
- Kapil Chaudhary, the former SDPO of Chakradharpur, has been appointed Rural SP in Dhanbad.
- Deepak Kumar Pandey, Lohardaga DSP has been made SP of Garhwa.
- Anudeep Singh is the new SP of Koderma.
- Animesh Kumar Nathani is SP of Jamtara.
- Rajkumar Mehta has been appointed as City SP of Ranchi.
- Manish Toppo has taken on the role of SP Rural Ranchi.
- Arif Ikram, the DSP of Hazaribagh has been made SP of the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
- Kailash Karmali has been appointed SP of the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Jharkhand.
- DSP Bundu Pujya Prakash has been appointed SP of the Special Branch along with Ajay Kumar.
- Shambhu Kumar Singh, previously serving as DSP in Chatra, has been appointed SP of Jharkhand’s Special Branch.
- Ajit Kumar has been named the new City SP of Dhanbad.
