Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Government has carried out a major police reshuffle, transferring 10 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and making changes involving 127 State Police Service officers. The IPS officers transferred in the latest exercise belong to the 2023 and 2024 recruitment batches and have been assigned field and city policing responsibilities across several districts.
The latest orders cover postings ranging from Assistant Commissioner of Police positions in major cities such as Indore and Bhopal to Sub-Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) assignments in different districts.
10 IPS Officers Transferred
Among the officers shifted, Manish Bhardwaj, an RR-2023 batch IPS officer, has been posted as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Kotwali, Indore.
Alok Kumar Verma, also from the RR-2023 batch, has been transferred as City Superintendent of Police (CSP), Rewa.
Vaibhav Priya, another RR-2023 IPS officer, has been posted as SDOP, Nepanagar, in Burhanpur district.
Shubham Singh Thakur, from the RR-2023 batch, has been posted as SDOP, Gadarwara, Narsinghpur.
The reshuffle also includes six RR-2024 batch IPS officers.
Manoj Kumar (RR-2024) has been transferred as Assistant Commissioner of Police, MP Nagar, Bhopal.
Lekhraj Meena (RR-2024) has been shifted as SDOP, Sailana, Ratlam.
Kajal Singh (RR-2024) has been posted as SDOP, Khurai, Sagar.
Rajiv Agrawal (RR-2024) has been posted as SDOP, Kukshi, Dhar.
Dipanshu (RR-2024) has been transferred as SDOP, Manawar, Dhar.
Amit Kumar (RR-2024) has been transferred as SDOP, Singrauli.

Alongside the IPS reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh Government has also transferred 127 officers of the State Police Service, making the latest exercise a wider restructuring of the state police administration.
The reshuffle brings a large number of officers into new field and city-level responsibilities and is expected to strengthen policing arrangements across various districts and urban centres of Madhya Pradesh.
