The Governor of Meghalaya has officially appointed retired IPS officer Mr. F.G. Kharshiing (promotee IPS officer), as the Mission Director of the Drug Reduction, Elimination, and Action Mission (DREAM).
Officer Kharshiing will serve an initial term of three years, with remuneration set at his last drawn pay, minus pension, plus additional allowances as permissible. The said order was issued by IAS Sampath Kumar (1997 batch), Principal Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Social Welfare Department.
