Ministry of Home Affairs issued an order of transfer and posting of 3 IPS Officers of AGMUT Cadre. As per the orders IPS officer Neeraj Thakur has been appointed as Director-General of Police Andaman and Nicobar. He is 1994 batch officer from AGMUT Cadre who is currently serving as Special Commissioner of Police (Special Cell), Delhi Police.
Mr. Jaspal Singh is appointed as DGP Goa. He is 1996 batch IPS Officer from AGMUT Cadre who is currently serving as Special Commissioner of Police, Delhi Police. MHA also transferred incumbent Andaman and Nicobar DGP Satyendra Garg to Delhi. Mr. Garg is 1987 batch IPS Officer from the same AGMUT Cadre.
