On 16 February, the government of Odisha issued a circular allowing six IPS probationers from the 2020 and 2021 batches, to join service after completing their AET training. The notification from the state’s home department reads that five of the six IPS probationers were posted as Sub-divisional Police Officers (SDPO), while one was posted as an ASP.
2020 batch officer Mr. Vinod Patil H has been posted as SDPO in Kesinga. Another 2020 batch IPS, Mr. Rahul Goel, shall assume office as SDPO in Baliguda.
2021 batch IPS officers Mr. Ankit Kumar Verma, Mr. Kuldeep Meena, and Mr. Amritpal Singh have been posted as SDPO in Jeypore, Boudh, and Nuapada, respectively. Another 2021 batch IPS officer, Ms. Amritpal Kaur, has been posted as ASP in Bolangir.
