The government of Rajasthan has recently reshuffled seven IPS officers, including the Inspector General (IG) of Ajmer range and DIG of Pali range.
IPS Om Prakash (2004 batch) has been asked to replace Mr. Lata Manoj Kumar (2000 batch) as the IG of Ajmer range. Officer Kumar was given a new role at Rajasthan Police Academy (RPA) in Jaipur.
Mr. Pradeep Mohan Sharma (2009 batch) has been moved from RPA to Pali. Mr. Sharad Chowdhary (2011 batch) last posted as DCP (HQ) of Jodhpur, has been transferred to Jhunjhunu district as SP, replacing Mr. Rajarshi Raj Varma (2017 batch), who has been reassigned to Jodhpur as DCP (West).
Mr. Rajesh Kumar Yadav became the SP of Salumber district, replacing Mr. Arshad Ali (2011 batch), who became the DCP (Crime) of Jaipur.
