IPS officer Neeraj Sinha has been appointed as Additional DG, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on lateral shift basis. An order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said that the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Sinha to the post on lateral shift basis from the date of joining the post and up to 31.12.2023. He is going to retire on 31 December, 2023.
Mr. Sinha is an IPS of 1990 batch and Bihar cadre. He is currently serving as Additional Director General (Addl. DG), Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D).
