Following a circular issued by the DoPT on May 30th, Mr. Sushil Kumar Singh (1993-batch IRSME officer) was mandated to assume office as the Chairperson of Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla, under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, after the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved of the same.
Officer Singh is set to replace Mr. SK Mehta (IFoS officer) as the Chairperson of the port authority, with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for an overall tenure up to the date of his superannuation on January 31st, 2027, or until further orders, whichever transpires earlier.
