New Delhi: The India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) has commenced its participation in the Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign, reaffirming its focus on cleanliness, public participation and the broader vision of a clean and developed India.
The campaign began at ITDC’s headquarters in New Delhi, where Managing Director Mugdha Sinha, IAS, led the Swachhata Pledge in the presence of Director (Finance) Lokesh Kumar Aggarwal, Director (C&M) Rajesh Rana, and employees of the organisation.
ITDC Employees Take Swachhata Pledge
The pledge ceremony brought together ITDC officials and employees, who reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining cleanliness and promoting responsible practices in their workplaces and surrounding communities.
Employees from ITDC’s hotel units and offices across the country also participated in the ceremony online, reflecting a coordinated effort across the organisation.
The participation of employees from different locations highlighted the importance of collective institutional action in supporting cleanliness and sanitation initiatives.

Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 Theme
ITDC is observing the 2026 campaign under the theme “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag: Swachhata Bharat, Viksit Bharat.”
The theme places emphasis on citizen participation and collective responsibility in advancing the cleanliness movement.
The 2026 campaign is being undertaken through a “Whole of Government” and “Whole of Society” approach, encouraging government organisations, employees, institutions and citizens to actively participate in cleanliness initiatives.
