Allegations of Security Lapses During GOAT India Tour

The complaint pertains to the ‘GOAT India Tour – Kolkata Edition’, held at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan on December 13, 2025.

The organiser has alleged that there was:

  • Unlawful intrusion into restricted security zones

  • Compromise of security arrangements for the international football icon

The programme attracted significant public and media attention, making the security arrangements a matter of considerable importance.

Police Asked to Conduct Detailed Investigation

Satadru Dutta has urged the Bidhannagar South Police Station to register the complaint and initiate a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances that led to the alleged security breach.

The complaint seeks to determine whether the named individuals or others played any role in undermining the event’s security protocols.

High-Profile Matter Draws Attention

The naming of senior political figures, a serving IAS officer, and former police chief Rajiv Kumar has added significant weight to the matter.
