Bhopal/Harda: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav distributed property registration certificates to 10 beneficiaries under the state’s ownership rights record transfer scheme during a programme in Harda district on October 9, 2026.
The beneficiaries received the certificates under the scheme for executing registration deeds based on ownership records. Among those who received certificates from the Chief Minister were Nirbhaydas and Bhaiyalal, residents of Gondagaon village. Eight other beneficiaries were also handed their registration certificates.

He said the ownership scheme provided legal security to rural residents and supported their economic empowerment. According to the Chief Minister, registered ownership documents could increase the value of their property and make it easier for beneficiaries to access government schemes.
Beneficiaries who received the certificates welcomed the development. They said formal ownership documents would make it easier for them to seek bank loans and undertake construction or other work on their land without apprehension.

CM Directs Officials to Speed Up Registration
During the programme, Yadav directed the district collector to accelerate the registration process under the ownership rights initiative.
He also instructed officials to inform patwaris about their authority and responsibilities in carrying out the registration work.
The Chief Minister clarified that registration deeds would be executed on the basis of information already recorded in the ownership documents. The process, he said, was not intended to determine ownership afresh or generate new ownership information.
The directions were aimed at expediting the execution of registration deeds under the scheme.
