Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has carried out a minor administrative reshuffle, transferring four IAS officers across key departments and local bodies. The transfers were announced on the day of the State Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, continuing the state’s established practice of issuing bureaucratic postings alongside cabinet deliberations.
The reshuffle includes the appointment of senior IAS officer Dr. Madhavi Khode-Chaware as Secretary, Minority Development Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, along with new assignments for Sunil Mahindrakar, Anita Meshram, and Aditya Jiwane.
The latest transfers come just weeks after the transfer of senior IAS officer Tukaram Mundhe, a move that had generated significant discussion within administrative and political circles.

Dr. Madhavi Khode-Chaware (IAS:2007), who was serving as Additional Divisional Commissioner, Nagpur Division, has been appointed as Secretary, Minority Development Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai.
A 2007-batch direct recruit IAS officer, Khode-Chaware brings extensive administrative experience to the Minority Development Department, which plays a crucial role in implementing welfare and empowerment schemes for minority communities across Maharashtra.

Sunil Mahindrakar Appointed Additional Controller of Stamps
Sunil Mahindrakar (IAS:SCS:2015) has been posted as Additional Controller of Stamps, Mumbai.
The department is responsible for stamp duty administration, registration-related revenue matters, and enforcement of stamp laws across the state. His appointment is expected to strengthen administrative oversight in one of Maharashtra’s key revenue-generating departments.
Anita Meshram Posted as Commissioner, MGNREGS
Anita Meshram (IAS:SCS:2015), who was serving as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Akola, has been transferred and appointed as Commissioner, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), Nagpur.
In her new role, Meshram will oversee the implementation and monitoring of the flagship rural employment programme across Maharashtra, ensuring effective execution of livelihood and rural development initiatives.
Aditya Jiwane Named Jalgaon Municipal Commissioner
Aditya Jiwane (IAS:2021), a direct recruit officer currently serving as Joint Managing Director, Mahavitaran (MahaDiscom), Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, has been appointed as Commissioner, Jalgaon Municipal Corporation.
