Major Administrative Reshuffle: 31 DANICS and DANIPS Officers Transferred Across UTs and Delhi, MT Kom Moved to Delhi

New Delhi: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the competent authority has transferred 31 officers belonging to the DANICS and DANIPS cadres across Delhi and various Union Territories, including Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (DNH&DD), and Chandigarh. The reshuffle involves officers from multiple batches, ranging from 2002 to 2024.

DANICS Officers Transferred Across UTs and Delhi

As part of the reshuffle, a large number of DANICS officers have been shifted both into and out of Delhi, with postings to island territories and other Union Territories.

  • MT Kom (2002) has been transferred from Lakshadweep to Delhi.
  • Rajanish Kumar Singh (2007) has been moved from Delhi to Andaman & Nicobar Administration (A&NA).
  • Vikram Singhal (2010) has been transferred from Delhi to Lakshadweep.
  • Gurpreet Singh (2013) has been posted from Delhi to Andaman & Nicobar Islands (A&NI).

Several officers of the 2020 batch have been moved from the Andaman & Nicobar Islands to Delhi:

  • Ashish Joon (2020)
  • Vikram Singh (2020)
  • Sapna Priya (2020)
  • Jatinder Sohal (2020)
  • Abhishek Gulia (2020)

Additionally:

  • Sunabh Singh (2019) has been transferred from DNH&DD to Delhi.
  • Ambika Ratnoo (2020) has been shifted from Delhi to A&NI.
  • Rahul Rathod (2020) has been moved from Lakshadweep to Delhi.

Among officers of the 2021 batch:

  • Mahima Tomar (2021) has been transferred from Delhi to DNH&DD.
  • Anita Yadav (2021) and Nitesh Singh Rawat (2021) have been posted from Delhi to A&NI.

For the 2024 batch:

  • Jagdish Sharma (2024) and Sushita Biju (2024) have been transferred from Delhi to Lakshadweep.
  • Gaurav Saini (2024) has been moved from Delhi to A&NA.

DANIPS Officers Also Shifted in Major Reallocation

The reshuffle also includes DANIPS officers, with several postings involving Delhi, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep.

  • Jasbir Singh (2011) has been transferred from Chandigarh to Delhi.
  • Deependra Kumar Singh (2014), Sunil (2014), and Suma Madda (2014) have been posted from Delhi to A&NI.

From Andaman & Nicobar Islands to Delhi:

  • Kumar Abhishek (2015)
  • Brij Mohan Meena (2019)
  • Yogita Sharma (2019)
  • Firoz Alam (2020)

Other transfers include:

  • Ajay Kumar (2015) from Lakshadweep to Delhi.
  • Patel Nirav Kumar (2015) and Ishan Bhardwaj (2015) from Delhi to Lakshadweep.
  • Rahul Vikram (2018) from Delhi to A&NI.
  • Neeraj Tokas (2022) from Delhi to A&NI.

Transfer Order of DANICS Officer Cancelled

In a related development, the transfer order dated 04.01.2025 concerning Pawan Saini (DANICS: 2024) has been cancelled. The officer was earlier transferred from Delhi to Lakshadweep, but the order now stands withdrawn.

Routine Cadre Management Exercise

The reshuffle is part of routine cadre management and administrative requirements aimed at ensuring effective governance and optimal utilisation of officers across Union Territories and the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
