Nagpur: Mineral Exploration and Consultancy Limited (MECL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NBCC (India) Limited for the repair, renovation and upgradation of its Corporate Headquarters in Nagpur.
The MoU was signed on September 11, 2026, marking a new step towards improving MECL’s institutional infrastructure and creating a more functional and modern workplace. The collaboration will utilise NBCC’s project management and technical expertise for comprehensive infrastructure improvement at the MECL headquarters.
MECL-NBCC MoU Focuses on Infrastructure Upgradation
Under the agreement, NBCC will support MECL in carrying out repair, renovation and upgradation works at its Corporate Headquarters in Nagpur.
The collaboration is aimed at improving the overall quality and functionality of the workplace, with emphasis on:
- Safer workplace infrastructure
- Improved functionality and usability
- Energy-efficient facilities
- Contemporary workplace design
- Comprehensive infrastructure improvement
The initiative is expected to create a better working environment for MECL employees while upgrading the organisation’s institutional infrastructure.

Representing NBCC were:

Their presence underlined the institutional importance of the partnership between the two public sector organisations.
NBCC to Provide Project Management and Technical Expertise
The partnership will leverage NBCC’s project management and technical capabilities for implementing the planned infrastructure improvement works.
NBCC has expertise in project management, construction and infrastructure development, which will support MECL’s objective of upgrading its Corporate Headquarters. The collaboration is expected to help deliver infrastructure that is more efficient, functional and aligned with contemporary workplace requirements.
