New Delhi: The Ministry of Steel organised a Mini Chintan Shivir on the theme ‘Peace of Mind at Workplace’ at the Civil Services Officers’ Institute (CSOI), Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
The session focused on encouraging officers and employees to create a stress-free work environment, strengthen emotional well-being and improve workplace efficiency. Brahma Kumari Sister Shivani, a spiritual speaker, attended the programme as the chief guest and keynote speaker.
Secretary Sandeep Poundrik Highlights Importance of Peace at Workplace
Addressing the gathering at the beginning of the programme, Secretary, Ministry of Steel, Sandeep Poundrik, highlighted the importance of maintaining peace of mind at the workplace.
He said that a peaceful and balanced work environment not only supports employees but also contributes to better productivity and efficiency.
The session provided an opportunity for officers and employees to reflect on ways to manage workplace stress and maintain a positive approach in their professional lives.
Sister Shivani Emphasises Stress Management and Positive Thinking
Speaking on the theme, Sister Shivani encouraged officers and employees to focus on reducing stress and developing a positive outlook in their daily lives.
She emphasised that having a firm resolve to achieve a goal can help people move towards accomplishing it. According to her, the same approach can also be applied to managing stress and maintaining mental balance.
She urged participants to maintain a positive outlook even when facing challenging situations.
‘Sankalp Se Siddhi’ and the Power of Positive Resolutions
Sister Shivani also highlighted the importance of Sankalp (Resolution) and explained how repeated thoughts and resolutions can influence a person’s life.
She said that what people repeatedly think about and resolve to do gradually shapes their thoughts and behaviour. Therefore, it is important to remain mindful and ensure that thoughts and resolutions are positive.
She described this approach as the principle of ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi’, which, she said, can contribute to the progress of society and the country.

The Mini Chintan Shivir provided a platform for officers and employees of the Ministry of Steel to discuss the importance of maintaining peace of mind and emotional strength at the workplace.
The programme underlined the connection between positive thinking, stress management, employee well-being and workplace productivity, encouraging participants to adopt constructive thoughts and resolutions in their professional and personal lives.
