Bhopal: Marking 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav paid tribute to his tenure, calling it a period of “transformational change” in India’s governance and development journey.

In a detailed social media post, CM Yadav recalled key milestones of the Prime Minister’s tenure and said that the nation elected Narendra Modi with “enthusiasm and unwavering trust,” while he has consistently served as a “Pradhan Sevak,” dedicated to building a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India).

“Politics of Service and Good Governance,” Says CM Yadav

CM Mohan Yadav said that Prime Minister Modi has treated the service of 140 crore Indians as service to God and has set new benchmarks in governance and development.

He highlighted the guiding principle of the government—“Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas”—stating that it has improved the lives of the poor, youth, farmers, and women across the country.

He also credited the Prime Minister for major social reforms, including the abolition of triple talaq, which he said restored dignity and respect for Muslim women.

Welfare Schemes Reaching the Last Mile

The Chief Minister said that under PM Modi’s leadership, numerous welfare schemes have ensured that benefits reach the last person in the queue.

He noted that citizens are now experiencing improved access to rights, dignity, and self-reliance through government initiatives. According to him, India is emerging as a global power due to “people-centric governance and compassionate policymaking.”

25 Crore People Moved Out of Poverty

CM Yadav claimed that around 25 crore people have moved above the poverty line in the last 12 years under various central schemes.

He said that the government has actively worked on the principle of “Antyodaya to Rashtronnati,” focusing on uplifting the poorest sections of society.

He listed several key welfare schemes contributing to this progress, including:

  • Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
  • PM Kisan Samman Nidhi
  • Ujjwala Yojana
  • Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana
  • Mudra Yojana
  • PM SVANidhi Yojana
  • Free ration scheme
  • Ayushman Bharat health scheme

Digital India and Clean India Transforming Governance

CM Yadav also praised flagship national initiatives such as Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, saying that large-scale construction of toilets and cleanliness drives have improved public health and dignity, especially for rural households.

He highlighted the success of Digital India, stating that Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) has brought transparency and ensured that welfare funds reach beneficiaries directly without leakage.

Vision for Developed India by 2047

The Chief Minister said that India is steadily moving toward the goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047. He emphasized that this vision can only be achieved through collective participation and continued public engagement.

He added that the government’s policies are driven by human sensitivity, ensuring that development remains inclusive and people-centered.
