Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will distribute ₹66.74 crore in grants to registered and operational gaushalas in the state through online Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) on September 17.
The grant, covering the July 2026 period, will be provided for the management and upkeep of 5,40,305 cattle housed in the gaushalas.
₹66.74 Crore to Be Transferred Through DBT
The total amount to be transferred to the bank accounts of eligible gaushalas is ₹66,73,81,160.

The grant is being provided at the prescribed rate of ₹40 per cattle per day for cattle housed in registered and operational gaushalas.

MP Gaushala Grant Managed by Animal Husbandry Department
The grant is being provided through the Madhya Pradesh Gau Samvardhan Board and the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department.
The funds are intended for the management and maintenance of cattle housed in registered gaushalas.
The September 17 transfer will be carried out from Indore, with the grant amount being credited directly to the accounts of the concerned gaushalas through the DBT system.
