New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India), Director General, Doordarshan, for providing additional features and services on the existing WAVES OTT platform.
The order is valued at approximately ₹63.15 crore, including taxes. RailTel disclosed the development on September 16, 2026, under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The LoI covers additional features and services to be provided on the existing WAVES OTT platform.

The company said the order does not fall under related party transactions. It also stated that the promoter or group companies have no interest in the awarding entity.

RailTel Makes Regulatory Disclosure Under SEBI Rules
RailTel disclosed the receipt of the LoI under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The company is required to execute the order by February 11, 2029.
The contract further expands RailTel’s role in providing technology and digital services for public-sector platforms.
RailTel Q1 FY27 Financial Performance
RailTel also reported its financial performance for the first quarter of FY27.
The company’s standalone net profit marginally declined 0.48% to ₹65.78 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹66.10 crore in Q1 FY26.
However, revenue from operations increased significantly during the quarter.
