MP to Launch Seva Sankalp Abhiyan from September 17; CM Mohan Yadav Reviews Preparations

Month-long campaign to feature statewide lamp lighting, blood donation camps, welfare outreach, student competitions, human rangoli and innovation programmes

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav on September 14 reviewed preparations for the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, a month-long campaign that will be organised across the state from September 17 to October 17.

During the review meeting, CM Yadav said the light of development kindled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is spreading across the country and represents his 25 years of service and responsibility. He directed officials to ensure effective coordination, detailed preparations and maximum public participation in all programmes.

The campaign will begin on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17 and feature a series of activities covering education, healthcare, women and child welfare, public service, innovation, governance and development.

Seva Sankalp Abhiyan to Begin on September 17

The campaign will formally begin on September 17 with the Aashirwad Ka Diya programme.

At 7 pm, diyas will be lit simultaneously at:

  • Mahakal Lok in Ujjain
  • All gram panchayats across Madhya Pradesh
  • Every ward of urban local bodies
  • Participating beneficiary families and institutions

CM Mohan Yadav will participate in the main programme in Ujjain.

The state government aims to create a world record for mass diya lighting as part of the campaign.

Blood Donation Camps to Be Held Across MP

Blood donation camps will also be organised on September 17 at health centres and medical colleges across the state.

The Chief Minister directed officials to make proper arrangements for:

  • Blood collection
  • Transportation
  • Storage
  • Coordination among concerned health institutions

Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya will be the state in-charge of the overall campaign.

‘Mere Sapno Ka Bharat’ Competitions for Students

Under the Mere Sapno Ka Bharat programme, painting and speech competitions will be organised for students.

The competitions will take place:

  • At the district level from September 19 to 26
  • At the state level on October 4 and 5

Government and private schools and colleges will participate in the competitions.

Winners of the state-level competitions will receive prizes along with certificates signed by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.

School Education Minister Rao Uday Pratap Singh will oversee the programme as its state in-charge.

‘Namo Seva – Ankahi Kahaniyan’ to Use Street Plays

The Namo Seva – Ankahi Kahaniyan activity will be conducted from September 19 to October 5.

As part of the programme, street plays will be staged at different public places to communicate messages related to service and public welfare.

Culture Minister Dharmendra Singh LodhI will be the state in-charge of the activity.

Angan Milan Seva to Focus on Children and Mothers

The Angan Milan Seva programme will be conducted at all Anganwadi centres from September 26 to October 5.

The initiative will include:

  • Snacks for children and mothers
  • Sports materials
  • Reading and learning materials
  • Information on health and nutrition
  • Vaccination awareness
  • Anaemia prevention awareness
  • Cleanliness and hygiene information

A video message from Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will also be shown to women and children at Anganwadi centres.

Women and Child Development Minister Nirmala Bhuria will be the state in-charge.

‘Seva Ki Kahani’ to Highlight Beneficiaries

The Seva Ki Kahani programme will run from September 17 to October 17.

Under the initiative, messages of beneficiaries whose lives have improved through Central and state government schemes will be shared as expressions of gratitude.

Urban Development and Housing Minister of State Pratima Bagri will oversee the programme.

Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra Across Assembly Constituencies

The Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra will be organised in every Assembly constituency on October 7.

The programme will include:

  • Distribution of district development booklets
  • Discussions on development activities carried out in the respective districts
  • Public participation at the constituency level

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Sarang will be the state in-charge.

Seva Yatra to Pass Through All MP Districts

The Badnagar (Gujarat)-Varanasi Seva Yatra will be conducted from September 17 to October 7.

The yatra will pass through all districts of Madhya Pradesh.

Public Health and Medical Education Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel will be the programme in-charge.

‘Seva Mera Yogdan’ to Encourage Community Participation

The Seva Mera Yogdan programme will run from October 2 to 10.

People from different sections of society and various institutions will participate in service-oriented activities during this period.

Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh will be the state in-charge.

Seva Setu Camps to Provide Government Scheme Benefits

The Seva Setu Abhiyan will also be conducted from October 2 to 10.

Development block-level camps and zone-wise camps in urban local bodies will be organised to provide eligible beneficiaries with benefits under various Central and state government welfare schemes at the spot.

The programme will also be linked with the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan.

Public Health and Medical Education Minister Rajendra Shukla will be the state in-charge.

Human Rangoli to Be Created in Six Cities

Under the Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang programme, large-scale human rangoli formations will be created on October 9 and 10.

The activity will be organised with public participation in:

  • Bhopal
  • Indore
  • Jabalpur
  • Gwalior
  • Jhabua
  • Alirajpur

Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Nagar Singh Chouhan will oversee the programme.

Innovation Challenge to Bring Startups Together

The Seva First Innovation Challenge will be organised on October 12.

The programme will bring together:

  • Incubators
  • Startup leaders
  • Innovators

The initiative will provide a platform for innovation and new ideas linked to public service and development.

Minister Rakesh Shukla of the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department will be the state in-charge.

National-Level Governance Dialogue on October 17

The Sushasan Seva Samvad will be organised at the national level in New Delhi on October 17.

Panchayat representatives, including panchs and sarpanches from Madhya Pradesh, will participate in the programme.

Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Prahlad Patel will be the state in-charge.

‘25 Years, 25 Stories’ Programme

Under the 25 Saal – 25 Kahaniyan initiative, kits received from the Central Government will be presented to families of eminent citizens and members of the intellectual community across districts.

Higher Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar will oversee the programme.

The state will also organise a Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Influencer Exchange programme, under which social media influencers from other states visiting Madhya Pradesh will travel across different districts and highlight the state’s development and initiatives.

CM Directs Officials to Ensure Effective Coordination

During the review meeting, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stressed the importance of advance planning and coordination for all activities under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.

Officials were directed to ensure maximum public participation at the village, urban local body and district levels.

The Chief Minister also instructed district officials to make adequate arrangements for participants, including:

  • Transportation
  • Travel and movement
  • Accommodation-related arrangements where required
  • Food
  • Coordination during events

He emphasised that all departments, officials, employees and public representatives should work together to ensure the successful implementation of the campaign.

The government has also directed officials to prepare development block-wise and zone-wise plans for Seva Setu mega camps so that the maximum number of eligible beneficiaries can receive benefits from government schemes during the campaign.
