NBCC Completes CBI Housing Complex in Maidangarhi, Delhi; CISF Signs MoU to Take Over 534 Residential Quarters

New Delhi: State-owned NBCC (India) Limited has successfully completed the construction of the CBI Housing Complex at Maidangarhi, New Delhi, marking a major milestone in the company’s extensive portfolio of government infrastructure projects. The project highlights NBCC’s commitment to sustainable and modern residential solutions for government institutions.

Sustainable Design with Modern Amenities

The CBI Housing Complex comprises 586 residential quarters and is designed with a strong focus on sustainability and modern living standards. The project incorporates rainwater harvesting systems, solar power facilities, and other eco-friendly features. The design aims to achieve a GRIHA 3-Star rating, underlining NBCC’s commitment to environmentally responsible construction practices.

In addition to sustainability, the complex offers modern amenities intended to enhance the quality of life for its residents. The project demonstrates NBCC’s objective to deliver high-quality, future-ready infrastructure for government personnel while prioritizing comfort and convenience.

CISF and CBI Sign MoU for Residential Handover

Following the successful completion of the project, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for the takeover of 534 residential quarters at the Maidangarhi complex.

The MoU also includes the handover of community infrastructure, such as an NGO’s Mess/Club House and a Community Hall, further enhancing the facilities available for residents and supporting the development of a vibrant residential community.

Ceremony Attended by Senior Officials

The MoU signing ceremony witnessed the presence of senior officials from both the CBI and CISF, along with Mr. K. P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of NBCC (India) Limited, and other key officers. Their participation highlighted the strategic importance of the project and the collaborative efforts between the organizations in delivering state-of-the-art government housing.

With the completion of the CBI Housing Complex, NBCC continues to solidify its role as a leading Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) in India, known for executing large-scale, sustainable infrastructure projects.
