New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited has secured a ₹234.78 crore work order from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) for comprehensive Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for infrastructure development in Ladakh.
The project involves the construction and redevelopment of various infrastructure facilities at 28 Border Out Posts (BOPs) of the ITBP along the Northern Border in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
The order, valued at approximately ₹234.78 crore excluding GST, has been awarded in the ordinary course of NBCC’s business.
NBCC to Manage Infrastructure Development at 28 ITBP Posts
Under the new contract, NBCC will provide Comprehensive Project Management Consultancy services for infrastructure works at 28 ITBP Border Out Posts.

No Related-Party Interest in ITBP Order
NBCC clarified that the latest contract is not a related-party transaction.
The company also stated that its promoters, promoter group and group companies have no interest in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, which awarded the contract.
The order has been received in the ordinary course of business.
Strategic Importance of Ladakh Infrastructure
The project will enable NBCC to contribute to infrastructure development at ITBP Border Out Posts in Ladakh.
Given the challenging terrain and strategic importance of the region, the construction and redevelopment of infrastructure at border posts is an important component of strengthening facilities for personnel deployed along the Northern Border.
Through its PMC role, NBCC will support the planning, coordination and execution of the infrastructure works covered under the contract.
