New Delhi: State-owned construction and project management firm NBCC (India) Limited has secured fresh work orders worth approximately ₹132.28 crore for educational and sports infrastructure projects in Assam and Odisha, according to a regulatory filing dated July 3, 2026.
The orders have been awarded in the normal course of business and will further strengthen the company’s project pipeline in the government infrastructure segment.
Orders Awarded by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and Odisha Government Department
The new contracts have been awarded by:
- Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti
- Sports & Youth Services Department, Government of Odisha
The projects are being executed under the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) model in the case of the school campuses.

Two Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Campuses in Assam
NBCC will construct permanent campuses for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) in two districts of Assam:
- South Salmara district, Assam – ₹55.46 crore
- West Karbi Anglong district, Assam – ₹55.46 crore
Both projects are aimed at strengthening residential school infrastructure under the central education system.
200-Bedded Sports Hostel in Odisha
The third project involves the construction of a 200-bedded sports hostel in Sambalpur, Odisha, located near the Dr. Jhasaketan Sahu Swimming Pool.
- Project value: ₹21.36 crore
- Client: Sports & Youth Services Department, Government of Odisha
This facility is expected to support athlete accommodation and sports development in the region.
Total Order Value and Financial Details
The cumulative value of all three projects stands at ₹132.28 crore (excluding GST).
