New Delhi: NHPC Limited, a Government of India Navratna enterprise, has been conferred with the prestigious “GEEF Global Environmental Excellence Company of the Year 2025 in Power Sector” award, recognizing its exemplary commitment to environmental sustainability and leadership in clean energy development.
The award was presented to Mr R.K. Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of NHPC, during the Global Energy Leaders’ Summit & Awards 2025 held in New Delhi. The accolade underscores NHPC’s continuous efforts toward integrating sustainable practices and promoting renewable energy across its operations.
Also present at the ceremony were the Executive Director (EDM), NHPC, along with other senior officers from the organization, reflecting the company’s collective dedication to environmental excellence.
This recognition further solidifies NHPC’s position as a key player in India’s transition toward a greener, more sustainable energy future.
