IPS officer Nina Singh has been appointed as the Additional General of Central Industrial Security Forces for a period of three years. The Rajasthan cadre officer from 1987 batch has been posted in CISF on a deputation basis and will hold the charge until her retirement. The first female DGP rank officer has been relived by the state government to take this charge.
She is currently serving as the DGP, Civil Rights & Anti-trafficking, Rajasthan. The officer is known for her work in woman commission and collaborating with Noble winner Abhijit Banerjee and Esther Duflo. She published a research paper with them on police reforms.
