Partnership aims to bridge public research and private healthcare, enhancing India’s self-reliance in advanced diagnostic solutions
Indian Masterminds Stories

New Delhi: Dr. Lal PathLabs Ltd (LPL), one of India’s foremost diagnostic service providers, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) to foster collaboration in the transfer, validation, and commercialization of indigenous diagnostic technologies. The partnership aims to strengthen the bridge between public research initiatives and private healthcare infrastructure, facilitating faster translation of homegrown innovations into clinically validated and commercially viable diagnostic solutions.

Collaboration to Promote Technology Transfer

Under the agreement, Dr. Lal PathLabs will gain non-exclusive licensing access to diagnostic technologies supported by NRDC. The collaboration also enables LPL to utilize its NABL and CAP-accredited laboratories for the clinical validation and scaling up of innovative diagnostic products. NRDC will provide consultancy support across various areas, including technology readiness assessment, intellectual property (IP) management, and design improvements, ensuring that technologies are market-ready and aligned with industry standards.
