NTPC Dadri Wins Multiple National Awards 2026 for CSR, Sustainability, Fly Ash Use and Rajbhasha Excellence

Dadri: NTPC Dadri has been honoured with several prestigious national awards in June 2026 for its outstanding performance in Rajbhasha promotion, CSR initiatives, rural healthcare, environmental sustainability, and fly ash utilization. The recognition highlights the plant’s strong commitment beyond power generation toward social and environmental development.

Three Gold Awards at Tusker Excellence Awards 2026

NTPC Dadri secured three Gold Awards at the Tusker Excellence Awards 2026 held in Kochi. The awards were given in the following categories:

  • Rajbhasha Promotion
  • Best Social Impact Short Film
  • Rural and Remote Healthcare

These awards reflect the station’s efforts in promoting official language usage and delivering impactful social welfare initiatives in remote areas.

Recognition for Fly Ash Utilization and Sustainability

The power station also received the GMF Spotlight Award 2026 (Diamond Category) for its efficient and innovative utilization of fly ash. This recognition underlines NTPC Dadri’s focus on sustainable industrial practices and resource optimization.

Additionally, it was awarded the Kalinga Environment Excellence National Award (Four Star Category) for its continuous efforts in environmental protection and sustainable development.

CSR Excellence in Healthcare and Education

NTPC Dadri was also honoured with the Kalinga Excellent CSR Award 2025 (Gold Category) for its impactful contributions under Corporate Social Responsibility programmes.

Its CSR initiatives have focused primarily on:

  • Healthcare services in rural areas
  • Educational support and development programmes

Leadership Appreciation and Employee Contribution

Executive Director A.K. Mishra congratulated employees and departments for their role in achieving these milestones. He stated that the awards reflect the dedication, teamwork, and commitment of NTPC Dadri’s workforce.
