Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has issued fresh posting orders for seven Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, bringing changes across district administrations as well as important departments at the state Secretariat.
The reshuffle includes the appointment of new Collectors and District Magistrates for Nabarangpur and Nuapada, besides postings in the General Administration & Public Grievances, Finance & ARD, and Health & Family Welfare departments.
Seven IAS Officers Get New Postings
Dr Maheswar Swain (IAS:2014), who was serving as Collector & District Magistrate of Nabarangpur, has been transferred and appointed as Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Pradeep Kumar Nayak (IAS), formerly serving as Additional Commissioner, Additional Revisional Court, Bhubaneswar, has been posted as Additional Secretary to Government in the Fisheries & Animal Resources Development (F & ARD) Department.

Madhusudan Dash (IAS:2014), who was serving as Collector & District Magistrate of Nuapada, has been appointed as Additional Secretary to Government in the General Administration & Public Grievances (GA & PG) Department.
The reshuffle also brings new leadership to the Nabarangpur and Nuapada district administrations.
Ms Anya Das (IAS:2019), who was serving as Deputy Secretary to Government in the Health & Family Welfare Department, has been appointed as the new Collector & District Magistrate of Nabarangpur.
Ms Madhumita (IAS:2020), after returning from maternity leave and joining the GA & PG Department, has been posted as the Collector & District Magistrate of Nuapada.
At the sub-divisional level, Ms Ashni A L (IAS), who was serving as Under Secretary to Government in the Health & Family Welfare Department, has been appointed as Sub-Collector, Bhabanipatana.
Her posting replaces Ms Kasturi Sha (IAS), who has been shifted from Sub-Collector, Bhabanipatana, and posted as Under Secretary to Government in the GA & PG Department.
Changes Across Districts and State Secretariat
The latest reshuffle brings a combination of district-level and Secretariat-level changes, with experienced officers being moved to key administrative assignments while younger officers take charge of field and departmental responsibilities.
The appointment of new Collectors in Nabarangpur and Nuapada is among the key changes in the latest order, while the movement of officers between the Health & Family Welfare and GA & PG departments also marks a significant administrative realignment.
The reshuffle is aimed at strengthening administrative coordination and ensuring effective functioning of key government departments and district administrations.
